Mid-Wales based Sculptor Steve Page specialises in making original artworks to be cast in bronze through the lost wax process. Each bronze in the ‘Beasts’ range is limited to an edition of 750 and is approximately 2 inches in height. The sculptures are hand finished and then individually painted by the artist, with his expertise in this chemical process of surface coloration lending the work an additional unique quality.

Each sculpture has its own distinct patina carefully chosen to compliment the piece, usually reflecting the animal’s characteristics or as in ‘Bison’ reminiscent of the red ochre used in cave paintings.
